The kids had tons of fun under the sun and in the water (at the aquarium, at the beach, in the pool). Everytime when we needed to leave, Ryan refused and cried, pointing to other kids asking why they don't have to go.........
Granpa also took Thomas to ride the go-cart. Thomas was very nervous at first, but then he started to enjoy the ride. He told me later that he was clenching his teeth so tight that it hurt, but it was still super fun.
2 days 1 night trip is a bit rushed, but still ok thanks to the Taiwan High Speed Rail. The kids fell asleep on the way back to Taipei, but of course woke up and full of energy again after arriving home and continued torturing their poor Mom until midnight.
